We are currently seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Polar Research Specialist to collaborate with us on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities:
- Focus on conducting research activities related to the polar environment on a part-time schedule, with an emphasis on climate change, biodiversity, and ecosystems.
- Assist in planning and executing field research in polar regions, including part-time involvement in data collection and analysis.
- Collaborate with international partners and stakeholders on polar research initiatives on a flexible basis.
- Attend meetings, seminars, and workshops as needed to present research findings.
- Contribute to writing and publishing research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior researchers and students on a part-time basis.
- Conduct public outreach and educational activities to promote polar conservation.

Requirements:
- A Ph.D. in Polar Research, Environmental Science, Biology, Oceanography, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in polar research with a solid publication record.
- Skills in fieldwork, data analysis, and scientific writing, with the capacity to work part-time.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and as part of a team on a part-time basis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are beneficial.
