Novotel Melbourne on Collins is looking for a full time porter to join our team. We are in the heart of Melbourne, our iconic hotel features 380 guest rooms and 8 conference rooms. You will be self-motivated and enjoy working independently as well as in a team to ensure all tasks are completed to perfection.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Meeting and greeting guests
• Handling and storing of guest luggage
• Valet parking of cars
• Assist with any guest requirements
• General Porter duties as required

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

• Must be responsible, self-motivated and proactive – bringing a positive attitude to the hotel team at all times.
• The ability to work well within a team environment
• Hold full manual driver’s license essential
• Confidence and ability to drive in a busy CBD location
• Have the ability to work rotating 7 day roster
• Be customer focused
• Have great attention to detail
• Be reliable and well groomed
• Be a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
