Position Summary:

We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our Water Portfolio Product Management team. As Portfolio Product Manager, Water you will be responsible for building synergistic workflows and experiences to utilize the Bentley portfolio to grow Bentley product adoption globally. The ideal candidate will execute key growth initiatives focused on unlocking remarkable experiences for targeted industry user bases and have an immediate impact on the growth of the Water portfolio. You will be responsible for tracking industry trends, identifying opportunities, and working closely with industry, sales, and product development teams to continually drive innovation.      

 

The ideal candidate has experience with consumption-based sales models.  They are customer-oriented with great listening and communication skills. You will need to successfully work with cross-functional teams, understand what is needed to successfully build and market products, and coordinate with both business and technical teams. You must be able to work independently and have a history of successful product implementations. You will leverage your technical skills and industry background to influence Bentley's Water offerings. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research including collecting customer feedback and performing market analysis activities to help identify and prioritize product requirements
• Create business cases by communicating key market needs to other product managers, development managers and additional internal stakeholders.
• Work with key customers and industry groups to identify market opportunities and persistent gaps to be addressed to add value to customers
• Contribute to product strategy and roadmap definition.
• Conduct Competitive Analysis (e.g. SWOT) and Win/Loss Analysis
• Coordinate and drive key priorities both within the Water team and across other departments (multiple product teams and marketing) to expedite time to market
• Define and manage priorities against the available capacity of team members
• Maintain product launch plans in collaboration with Marketing
• Creating standard presentations and demo scripts
• Documenting competitive threats and related industry news
• Document new functionality and processes

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant years of experience (Engineering degree and MBA preferred)
• 5 years of user engagement as product manager or owner
• Prior experience within the Water industry
• Experience in technology development, ideally regarding API consumption and Cloud technology
• Proficient in effectively communicating to a wide range of audiences
• Proven experience in delivering software products and projects
• Experience in balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity
• Experience in applying a data driven approach to analyze and react to market adoption
