Job Description

The Microsoft Quantum program has been studying quantum computing for several years and has become the world’s center of expertise on topological quantum computing. The research effort includes a staff of theoretical physicists and experimental teams around the world.

 

We are currently seeking applicants in the field of theoretical condensed matter physics. This position will be located at Microsoft Station Q in Santa Barbara, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in superconductivity, topological phases of matter, and quantum computing, and will have demonstrated an ability to publish in top-tier physics journals.

Qualifications

Targeting a start date of Summer/Fall 2020.

 

Qualifications for this post-doc include a strong academic record in a relevant technical area.

 

Applicants must have completed the requirements for a PhD, including submission of their thesis, prior to joining Microsoft Station Q.

 

Post-doc researchers receive a competitive salary and benefits package and are eligible for relocation expenses.
