The Intel CPU Debug Team is in charge of solving the system most complex problems at whatever technological area we need to dive into - be it SoC, IP, Motherboard, power management, power delivery, Firmware or Software or Hardware, reset,  whatever is needed. Our job is to make it work in time for launching products that will be at the hands of literally many millions of people.

Come join a team that is in the heart of making the exciting Intel CPU products work. You will make the system work at its top performance and you will also make it operate at its lowest possible power. You will tackle problems and will chase them to their root cause and will also help come up with solutions that enable Intel complex product get to market on time. You will be required to consider different solution options and trade-offs based on your technical judgement.  You will be exposed to an extremely diverse set of technologies in the Intel CPU chip, using Intel cutting edge solutions for debug, and will be required to quickly understand the situation and devise experiments that will help you get to the bottom of the problem. You will be required to understand the most wide range of technological disciplines, from circuit level to PC Operating Systems, as the debug journey chasing the origin of a problem may take you across any element in the Intel CPU system. We are looking for experienced engineers, but bright people with less experience are also welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science with good accomplishments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Curiosity, assertiveness, initiative spirit, responsibility and great communication skills

Advantage:

• Chip design and validation knowledge
• OS kernel and debug expertise (Windows / Linux / MacOS)
• High-volume manufacturing experience
• Familiarity with technological areas like memory, power management, SoC level communications protocols and flows, HW/SW integration, drivers or firmware

The everyday contributions of the Intel Validation Engineering (iVE) team are essential to retaining/regaining Intel's product leadership. We validate, debug, and tune the newest designs and world-changing technologies that enrich the lives of every person on earth. We play a critical role in completing the PRQs of Intel products and in Intel's ability to deliver the annual technology platforms in our roadmap.
