Postdoctoral researcher position is available for research on Hedgehog pathway and metabolism regulation in developmental biology and cancer research. The position is located in Dr. Jer-Yen Yang laboratory in the Department of Basic Medical Sciences & Purdue University Center for Cancer Research at Purdue University.



We study signal transduction and molecular/cellular regulations using cellular, mouse and zebrafish models in cancer research. We also use chemical engineering approaches with various experts in Purdue Discovery Park. Through interdisciplinary interaction, we aim to provide insights in developing therapeutics that can disable cancer, and thus prevent cancer progression and recurrence (More information can be reached in http://jyyanglab.weebly.com/). We are looking for candidates who have a Ph.D. degree, a strong background in cancer molecular and cell biology and/or mouse genetics,and highly motivated for conducting cutting-edge research.
