We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for a postdoctoral position at Prof. Dezhao Liu’s research group, College of Biosystems Engineering and Food Science, Zhejiang University, China.
Professor Dezhao Liu’s research area includes but not limited to the following:
- Biofiltration and biotechniques for air cleaning and water treatment
- Odorants identification and odor abatement technologies
- Advanced oxidation processes for air cleaning and water treatment
- Denitrification process and nitrogen removal for aquaculture systems
- PTR-MS technologies and applications
- Agriculture waste management and resource recovery
- Indoor air quality
- Water resources and water quality for large cities
Your responsibilities
- Co-supervision of PhD students and Master students;
- Work on the Postdoc Project, as a part of a bigger project founded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China;
- Work on other projects, including National and local founded projects.
Qualifications:
(1) You have a PhD degree within environmental science, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, biological engineering, biosystems engineering, agriculture engineering, municipal engineering, architectural environment & equipment engineering, etc.
(2) Good publication track record in international conferences and journals.
(3) Good communication skills and capability of co-supervising graduate students.
(4) Fluent in oral and written English.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary for this position will be around 150k - 300k per year, depending on academic accomplishment. You have an excellent and friendly working environment and atmosphere at Dezhao Liu's group. Zhejiang University was founded in 1897, and is one of China's oldest, selective and most prestigious institutions of higher education. It is a member of the C9 League, the Yangtze Delta Universities Alliance and the Association of Pacific Rim Universities.
