Job Description
The project is to study the mechanisms responsible for vascular complications in type 2 diabetes and hypertension. These research programs will primarily involve in vivo animal models, in vitro (cell culture) studies, and require the use of molecular biology such as Western blot analysis, real-time PCR, and immunostaining.
The postdoctoral should demonstrate self-motivation at the workplace by performing experiments, reading the literature, and writing manuscripts.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. M.D. and/or Ph.D. degree
2. Experience in microvessels physiology and molecular biology are required
3. Good communication and writing skills.
4. Must be highly organized and work independently.
