Postdoctoral positions available in the laboratory of

Armin Blesch, PhD.


Professor of Neurological Surgery


Indiana University-Purdue University


School of Medicine, Indianapolis.


Candidates who just finished their degree in neuroscience or related field, or already have postdoctoral experience are welcome to apply.  Candidates should be highly motivated, able to perform self-directed work, possess excellent collaborative skills and demonstrated experience in oral and written communication. Expertise in animal models of spinal cord injury, cultivation, differentiation and transplantation of neural stem cells, mechanisms of pain or biomaterials would be desirable to be part of one of several ongoing projects in animal models of spinal cord injury.


Compensation is commensurate with qualifications. Candidates are expected to start in spring/summer2016. Review of applicants will continue until positions are filled.
