Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Contribute research that can be applied to educational product development.
2. Collaborate on research that enables learning the semantics of data (images, video, text, audio, and other modalities).
3. Manipulate and analyze high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources.
4. Assist in product design, testing, deployment, documentation and support
5. Work with other team members to carry out effective development

General Requirements:

1. Obtained Ph.D. or will obtain Ph.D. by winter of 2019 in Computer Science or science, technology, engineering and mathematics (“STEM")-related discipline from either a local university in Hong Kong or a well-recognised non-local institution
2. Passionate in developing educational system with the use of the latest technology
3. Keen to learn new programming languages (e.g. C#, C++, OpenCV, JavaScript, Python as well as Tensor Flow, Caffe, etc...)
4. Work experience in education is a plus
5. Strong in problem solving, design, analytical skills and able to work independently
6. Good analytical, communication, interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
7. Willing to learn and good team player
8. Applicant with a non-engineering background will also be considered
