The Position: We’re looking for Postdoctoral Scientist (Biomedical Engineering) with requirement as listed:

Job Qualifications:

• Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent from a top 100 institutions for related subjects in the latest publication of world university ranking tables
• Demonstrated excellence in the subject as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and productivity during their Ph.D. studies
• Working understanding in human joints preferred
• Experience in medical image processing preferred
• Demonstrate problem solving skills through innovation, hypothesizing, design and implementation analytically and quantitatively.
• Team player with effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:

This role will focus on the hardware research and development of our next-generation gesture recognition system that is based on electrical impedance tomography (EIT), electromyogram (EMG), and inertial measurement units (IMU). Candidates with the background/techniques below will be helpful to succeed in this position.

• Understand and experienced in electrical impedance tomography (EIT), electromyogram (EMG), and inertial measurement units (IMU).
• Design and implement clinical research from inception to trial.
• Design, implement and test biomedical diagnostic systems with different combinations of parameters.
• Analyze hardware requirements to determine feasibility of design within quality assurance, time and cost constraints.

Start Date: Rolling-basis

Location: Cyberport, Hong Kong (Flexible work location up to 3 days a week)
