General Description

This position is responsible for promoting XJTLU’s master’s programmes to recruit postgraduate students.

Main Responsibility and Accountability

Assist in setting up admissions objectives and marketing strategy;

Develop PG student recruitment market;

Receive visitors and provide consultancy services;

Manage enquiries through application and admission;

Coordinate with the academic departments to promote their master’s programmes;

Plan, organize and arrange recruitment activities, events and visits;

Visit universities and enterprises to promote master’s programmes;

Hold recruitment presentations;

Attend education fairs and activities;

Analyze recruitment / admissions data and make recommendations on next steps;

Recommend and contribute to the continuous improvement of work processes within the University;

Participate in recruitment of local undergraduate students;

Participate in other office and university-related projects, as assigned.

Position Qualification Requirement

Skills and Knowledge

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese

Highly motivated and professionally committed

Must be prepared, from time to time, to travel on university business

Excellent communication, coordination and presentation skills

Highly proficient IT skills: MS Office, Outlook, worldwide web, databases, spreadsheets and PowerPoint

Experience in organizing and holding large events

Ability to work on a variety of tasks at the same time, and to organize and prioritize them, including coping with unpredictable volumes of work and busy periods

Dependability, reliability and ability to produce work of high quality

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or above

3 or more years of working experience related to student recruitment
