Job Description

Come and Join the CPU power & performance projection group, a team that overlooks the entire SOC [System On Chip] and defines the future processor power delivery specifications: Current consumptions at different scenarios , implementation and calculation of Power Management features, Maximum achievable frequencies  [Turbo mode].

In this role, you will be exposed to the entire process of Intel’s processor development , from early Architecture definitions , through Design steps and finally to real product validation where we compare results Vs estimations.

You will participate in working-groups where Intel defines how the entire system will be designed. You will be helping to generate the data that leads to the important decisions on how Intel’s customers will design their platforms [Laptops, Desktops , Gaming Machines , Tablets etc’]

The work requires the ability to understand the physical and statistical models through which the group generates the projections, be able to drive improvements to the product in the different areas. The work consists of mastering s/w tools that generate the projections , being able to drive changes to the modeling s/w , performing studies that require deep understanding in CPU design and Architecture and recommendation of potential improvements and changes to the design or the product/platform.


Qualifications

A registered student for Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

Availability to work 2 Days a week at Haifa Campus

Background in VLSI and Semiconductors is an advantage

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
