Purpose of the position

Duties

1.Participate to the overall UPS product validation, do safety/EMC/performance verification with Three/Single phase ups according to the R&D project requirement;

2.Do second source or VAVE Test and verify for UPS new electrical components: IGBT/MOSFET/DIODE/Magnetic

Components/Electrolytic Capacitor……);

3.PCBA/Hardware/Firmware function verification and write the validation report;

4.Be responsible for the local product development including customer’s requirement analysis; do power converter/inverter design (IGBT/SCR and driver, BUSBAR, Electrolytic Capacitor……) , topology analysis and selection, losses calculation, thermal performance simulation, schematic design, simulation, BOM creation and ERP maintenance;

5.Electrical general drawing and Cabling design /qualification for the project;

6.Coordinate with production during prototype build;

7.Support quality department about customer complain and failure component analysis;Troubling shooting for the production line if necessary;

8.Provide the technical guidance to lab test engineer and team;

Education & background required

• Bachelor degree, electrical engineering

• One or several following experience: AC/DC or DC/DC power supply design

  (telecom/server/charger), solar inverter, storage inverter, motor driver inverter, UPS, priority to consider the people who has the experience of UPS or storage inverter field;
