The Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group (AXG) brings Intel's technical strategy to life. Our team defines, develops, and brings to market integrated and discrete GPUs addressing consumer and data center customer needs. The Architecture team is responsible for all GPU products covering AI, HPC and visual cloud segments. We combine innovations in architecture, software, and graphics technology to go beyond transistors to drive competitive advantages at the product and solution level. Be a part of Intel Graphics and be at the center of defining future integrated and discrete graphics products for use in Client and Datacenter markets. Intel is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join the Graphics Power and Performance Architecture Team. You will play a key role in ensuring platform and its components have the best performance and power balance specifically focusing on graphics hardware components.

Responsibilities will include research and development of next generation platform designs to continually improve the performance. You will also conduct system analysis on proprietary and competition platforms, and develop advanced hardware tuning and overclocking.

Job Functions and Skills:

  • Work with other world-class architects on analysis, validation, and tuning of graphics architectures and features that advance the state of art in performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and enhance innovative tools for architectural performance analysis and pre-silicon projections
  • Performance analysis of graphics hardware features and APIs, leading to recommendations for future architectures
  • Excellent debugging skills and waveform analysis


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum skills and experience that will get you noticed:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 6+ years industry experience.  Or a Masters in the same field with 4+ years of industry experience. Graphics knowledge
  • Graphics Pipeline
  • Testbench development for performance validation
  • SV/UVM concepts

Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out:

  • Emulation experience
  • Industry standard Compute & Graphics Benchmarks

Behavioral traits that we are looking for:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Very good team player
  • Capable of mentoring junior team members

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$132,940.00-$199,800.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
