Responsibilities
- The responsibilities of this job will be to design and support an Electrical Power Network Architecture for the next generation of automated vehicles. The applicant should desire experience across a broad set of the Daimler Network, including but not limited to, Technology Partners, Suppliers, and Internal Cross Functions.
- Our ideal candidate has a solid understanding of requirements involved in Electrical Power Network Architectures that ensure safe and reliable autonomous functions. In this role, you will need experience with System Level Power Electronics. Familiarity with “Feature” based automotive product development process is desired, but not required. Design Experience using Model Based Design tools (Simulation, Validation, etc).
- Applicants will develop accurate Design Specification across a broad audience that includes Technology Partners and Daimler Truck’s robust supply chain. You will need to communicate clear expectations and deliverables to team interfaces via traceable and transparent documentation.
- As part of Daimler Truck’s mission to pioneer commercial vehicle safety systems, this candidate will work collaboratively to support our group as we comply with industry standards. These standards include but are not limited to Automotive Functional Safety standards (ISO 26262), Vehicle Validation, and cyber security requirements.
