Bentley Systems seeks a talented individual to serve as a Pracrtice Leader for the Asset Performance Practice.  This role reports to the VP in Greater China. The Asset Performance practice provides presales and professional services to users of the Bentley Asset Management software suite used by owners and managers of infrastructure assets. This positoin will demonstrate capabilities, qualify and progress opportunities, oversee all professional service engagements.

This role will be based in our Beijing office working with a team spread around the world.  Travel will be expected.

 This colleague will be involved in:

• Participating in the solution definition of user projects by translating requirements and processes into functional design.
• Draft functional and business requirements documents
• Update and maintain functional and business requirements documents
• Assist in the creation of project proposals for both fixed fee and time and material projects.

• Create and execute test plans based on user requirements
• Proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal users and stakeholders to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver requirements documents as needed.
• Serving as the conduit between the user community (internal and external users) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
• Identifying and validating business objectives and generating/proposing solutions that align with Bentley’s business strategy and standards.
• Successfully engaging in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Communications, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field is preferred.  Equivalent in work experience will be considered.
• Three to Five years’ experience in the areas of technical business analysis, software life cycle development, software implementation, Engineering.
• Strong analytical and customer relationship skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret user business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required including the ability to analyze data
• Experience with office productivity tools, multiple web browsers, online communication tools
• Ability to work under the pressures of deadlines
• Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and balance the time and effort between those projects.
• Be able to cope with change due to external events
• Proven people skills with an emphasis on teamwork.
• Ability to work unsupervised under minimal supervision, with wide latitude for independent action.
• Travel to user sites and Bentley office locations.

Desired, but not Required Qualifications

• Technical experience such database building or programming
• Experience working for Application Service Provider (ASP) or Software as a service (SaaS) company.
• Business Analysis certification (e.g. CBAP, CCBA, etc.)
• Knowledge of any of the following: Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, or similar. 
• Experience working with software development teams located off-shore.
