Job Description

Prairie View A and M ​- Intel Validation Engineering Internship Program:


Come join the IVE team for silicon validation In this role you will be working as part of a post silicon validation team across all Intel products IVEs role at Intel is to ensure no Hardware or Firmware bugs escape to customers.

Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

  • Validating design and microarchitectural implementation and assumptions

  • Creating enhancing or supporting software tools to improve validation quality and debug capabilities

  • Automating validation tasks in order to improve efficiency

  • Validating signal quality of SOC IOs eg USB4 using a mix of circuit debug hooks and precise measurement equipment like Oscilloscopes and JBerts

  • Performing data analysis of analog measurements and using statics to determine production quality or to find trends as part of debug


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. The experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Undergraduate student at Prairie View A and M with a graduation date beyond summer 2022.

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in the area of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or relevant engineering field.


This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor's degree with three years' related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor's degree and less than three years' experience.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00 (Hourly Role)
