Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pre-K International Teacher to join our early years team. The ideal candidate will be a caring educator dedicated to fostering the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of our youngest students in a multicultural setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes inquiry-based learning.
Develop and implement a engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with our school's philosophy.
Observe and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining open communication with parents.
Collaborate effectively with fellow teachers, teaching assistants, and school leadership.
Participate in school events, professional development, and staff meetings.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Fluency in English.
Professional fluency in German is mandatory.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of proven experience teaching in a kindergarten or early years setting.
Must be able to provide professional reference letters from previous employers.
Understanding of child development and best practices for early childhood education.
Culturally sensitive, adaptable, and a positive team player.
Preferred Qualifications (Pluses):
Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a significant advantage.
Familiarity with international or bilingual educational frameworks.
Ability to contribute to co-curricular activities.
