Job Description
The Presales Application Specialist is responsible for acts as a technical resource for D-IT’s channel partners and end users by providing product specifications and product application troubleshooting from the Tripplite.com website via chat, email, and phone call. The specialist will also be responsible for routing requests to the appropriate internal D-IT department when necessary Some activities related with the position will be: Presales phone, chat, and email support for both internal & external D-IT customers Lead qualification and accurate data entry into salesforce.com Identify customer requirements, recognize pain points, and provide builds of material based off customer expectations Be a technical resource for D-IT products and their application which includes power quality, racks, cooling, and cables & connectivity product lines #LI-MA1 Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: Experience using SalesForce or other CRM Knowledge of the IT market Team player that actively contributes to the group's success Excellent written and oral communication skills in addition to strong Proven multi-tasking skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and balance workload Proven self-starter that can independently drive deliverables forward to success Shows potential to be promoted to higher-level role Excellent written and oral communication skills in addition to strong Proven multi-tasking skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and balance workload Proven self-starter that can independently drive deliverables forward to success Shows potential to be promoted to higher-level role Computer skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (email), and Internet Drive for results Makes Decisions & Solves Problems Demonstrates a Collaborative Style Promotes and Champions Change Business Acumen Pursues personal development Strong work ethic, flexibility, and a desire to actively contribute to the group’s success Ability to prioritize multiple tasks Team player What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
