Job Description

As a Pre-Sales lead, you will provide pre-sales support the sales team to sell products, services and solutions to drive adoption of Decisioning solutions and the financial inclusion agenda. You will engage alongside sales teams across our telco, finance, e-commerce, insurance and retail customers to position our value proposition for Experian across the region. The successful candidate will currently be working in the field of Solution Sales in a pre-sales capacity, engaging with prospects in the region. The candidate must have access to Greater China customer relationships and ideally have done business before with the c-level decision makers in the region. The ideal candidate must have worked in emerging markets and have demonstrated skill in being able to work in a matrix environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-      Pre-sales of Experian solutions in Greater China, including requirement understanding, proposal preparation and presentations

-     Ensure that all solution designs maximize the business benefits to be gained by the clients, and solve their specific problems

-     Supporting the sales process in Greater China to enhance opportunities

-     Continuous improvement of pre-sales discipline and materials

-     Product/Solution innovation for changing client’s requirement in China Market

-     Align with delivery, consulting and analytics teams to provide services input to opportunities, and ensure that software and scoring solutions are effectively integrated across the business

-     Build strong working relationships and collaborate across internal groups such as consulting, sales, product management, analytics and delivery

-     Provide analysis, feedback and execution on go to market strategies, challenges and competitors in region

Adhere to Experian policies and procedures

-    Work under the Experian behaviors and values

-     Facilitate and drive performance management processes

-     Champion a culture where the fair treatment of customers is at the heart of the Experian business 

-     Ensure that by leading by example, you adhere to all regulatory requirements and apply appropriate controls in the interests of customers

-     Through the adoption of a top down approach, demonstrate a culture where all our people understand their regulatory obligations, including what the fair treatment of customer’s means to them and our organization

Qualifications

What you’ll need to bring to the party

-      Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree is preferred

-      Overall experience above 15 years

-      Must have worked in specific area of pre-sales to financial institutions

-      Experience in identity validation and fraud management solutions for financial services and/or e-commerce industry

-      Demonstrable track record of consistent performance in pre-sales

-      Proficient in English and Chinese language, good presentation/communication skills

-      Skilled in value proposition creation and market analysis

-      Has good techno functional skills with strong business acumen

-      Has a good understanding of technology systems and business processes of financial institutions and mobile operators to match opportunities to the right Experian offering
