Eaton’s Vehicle Division is currently seeking a Preventative Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. This position is based at our Kearney, NE facility. Relocation benefits are provided for those willing to relocate to the Kearney, NE area. Sponsorship is not available for this position. Position Summary: Manages and implements all Preventative Maintenance (PM) functions within the Kearney facility to promote a proactive maintenance culture which yields reductions in equipment downtime, higher quality production, efficient use of maintenance resources, and lower maintenance cost while aiding in achieving profit goals for the facility Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. In this function you will: Maintain Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including updating and modifying PMs as needed, maintaining records of personnel changes, and updated the CMMS to accurately reflect changes as equipment is bought, sold, moved, scrapped, or stored. Support safety efforts throughout the facility Coordinate with operations management to ensure equipment availability for PM performance Prepare and distribute weekly PM schedules and associated PM work orders Ensure PM completion occurs in a timely manner with as little interruption to production as possible Manage projects as assigned by Maintenance Manager Accumulate machine history by utilizing data in CMMS to maintain accurate information on equipment in the plant Advise PLMs of backlogged work orders against their equipment in each department to help eliminate unnecessary downtime Create and issue Corrective Work Orders and monitors completion Create and distribute routine and customized management reports using CMMS to aid in record-keeping, process improvements, and internal decision making Maintain automotive fleet maintenance schedules and maintain maintenance records Assist in monitoring of stockroom usage and records Assist with cost savings projects by working with Maintenance, Manufacturing Services, and Manufacturing Engineering to set and achieve goals Assist in achieving maintenance budgetary goals through PM scheduling, TPM, and Reliability methods Participate in maintenance planning meetings and assist in goal setting and performance monitoring When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution Minimum two (2) years of working experience in an administrative role Legally authorized to work in the United States without on-going company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree from an accredited institution Minimum one (1) year of working experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment Position Success Criteria: Technical skills include intermediate level expertise in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as proficient use of intranet and internet skills. The position requires good anticipation skills of future actions required to ensure timely completion of deadlines. Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management and employees across the organization in a courteous, tactful, and professional nature. Able to continuously monitor and meet department deadlines. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Able to be proactive and flexible, understanding that things can change at any given moment. Excellent organizational skills.
