Preventive Maintenance Technicians perform functions associated to execute Preventive/Corrective Maintenance of the equipment used on the Test MFG process areas. This person also needs to look for continuous improvements in the execution of the maintenance tanks and the specification documents as well. They need to look for opportunities to optimize the use of spares and parts consumed during the maintenance activities. They will be responsible of keeping healthy critical success indicators like Preventive Maintenance Warranty and Preventive Maintenance duration. They also need to provide support to the Manufacturing area when required. May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required. High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications requirements to be initially considered for this position:
- High School Diploma and Technical Degree or Diploma; or advanced Bachelor's studies in Electronics. Electromechanical, Mechatronic or related field.
- English level: B1 (CEFR).
- 2+ years of experience as technician.
- Able to work during weekends and nights.
- Unrestricted Costa Rican work permit.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using metrology equipment.
- Problem Solving Methodologies.
- Experience on visual inspection operations and defect validation and disposition.
- Windows Software Packages Proficiency.
- Knowledge in Basic Statistical Process Control and Lot disposition tools.
- High Volume Manufacturing/Lab Environment Experience and Familiar with defect signature.
- Knowledge in process overview in Assembly and/or Test and Finish.
- Knowledge on Metrology, such as Reject Validation and Measurement/Inspection Equipment.
