Position Overview

Under the supervision of the business development manager / pricing actuary, the pricing analyst will perform a variety of tasks to meet the departmental objectives.

Responsibilities

• Work on the product development work and relevant pricing work ;
• Work with Underwriting team and pricing team on the risks identification and mitigation when providing the quotation;
• Prepare particular conditions for new treaties;
• Collect marketing information;
• Participate in the department activities and support the pricing team and business development department;
• Special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master degree in actuarial or mathematics;
• A minimum of 4 SOA exams or equivalent;
• Software knowledge: Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat;
• Other specific software knowledge : AXIS;
• 1-5 years of relevant pricing work experiences is an asset;
• Bilingual Chinese-English (spoken and written) ;
• Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills;
• Sense of organization and detail-oriented;
• Solid technical and analytical skills;
• Good team spirit;
• Ability to simultaneously work on several projects;
