Job Description
Eaton is seeking a Pricing Analyst and for the Commercial & Residential Distribution Solutions Division. This position is based remotely or in Charlotte, NC. In this function you will: Supports the Commercial & Residential Systems and Solutions Division (CRDS) by assisting in the development and deployment of price strategies by segment, customer type, rebate model and price method in support of division price, share and profitability goals. Liaisons with CRDS Pricing Manager, Product Management, Eaton Sales Team, Component Pricing Organization (CPRO) Regional Pricing Managers and Satellite Managers. Coordinates with Pune based BI team in the development of new pricing tools and features. Collaborates with product line management in the launch of new products to ensure that pricing strategies are aligned. Engages with the Retail, Builder, Credit and CPRO teams to support price approval requests Evaluates ad-hoc retail pricing requests providing price recommendations Supports ad-hoc builder pricing, rebate and profitability requests providing recommendations to the Pricing Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing Executes analysis and review of escalated Component Pricing Organization (CPRO) price requests providing price recommendations to the Pricing Manager Assists in pricing requests and analysis as provided by Regional Marketing Managers Coordinates with Credit Department and Field Sales to review incoming credit and rebate requests Focus on General Price Increase related activities with emphasis on builder agreement related CSPs, Division Owned accounts and Retail channel Gathers pricing and customer related data to feed into pricing system and works with product management and sales teams to validate the data. Provides pricing analytics research to support product line initiatives. Collaborates with multiple stakeholders in the definition and loading of new products and product changes across stock and rebate agreements Why work at Eaton? Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. Preferred qualifications: Technical – Knowledge of electrical distribution products, electrical products sales processes, Eaton pricing processes and systems preferred. Must be very proficient in MS Excel experience with, MS Access preferred. Experience and working knowledge of Tableau is preferred. Minimum of 2 years’ experience and working knowledge of Vista, Mentor and QlickView systems preferred Position Criteria: Professional – Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Experience in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphical form. An understanding of costing concepts and terminology. Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices.
