Eaton’s electrical sector is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Ellisville, MO. Relocation assistance will be provided. Position Overview: The Pricing Analyst is responsible for determining appropriate product pricing strategies using analytical tools, databases and pricing models. Develops and implements procedures to ensure that the special pricing terms are administered within company guidelines. This position will handle the analysis for new customer conversions, National & OEM quotes / bids, and SPA discount and margin reviews using established procedures and tools. They will work closely with product managers and sales team members on pricing approval requests and establish deviated pricing to support strategic initiatives. The Senior Contract Analyst will validate risk assumptions and overall impact of SPA pricing by customer, market, and channel. In this function you will: Work directly with Bussmann sales team and product managers on managing pricing levels and quote requests for focused customers as deemed critical through the channel optimization strategy Analyze pricing trends, market opportunities, and sales margins in order to enhance reports, procedures and tools for quoting and establishing contract pricing. Research and analyze historical data calling out nuances of agreements, including deviations from standard pricing guidelines Utilize critical thinking skills and historical knowledge to identify and ensure pricing processes and methodologies are defined and effectively applied Perform ad hoc reporting and analyses to support various business needs and sales strategies. Monitor and manage effectiveness of Discount Authority Guidelines (DAGs) for pricing approvals and recommend changes to Product Management Develop and maintain a general knowledge of most Bussmann products and market level pricing. Understand Bussmann’s sales and marketing strategies to determine appropriate pricing levels by region and channel Serve as the primary contact point and coordinator for special projects such as contract pricing automation efforts, quotation process enhancements, system testing for enhancements, and any pricing analysis required to evaluate quotation opportunities, issues, or resolve disputes Lead price increase initiatives as they pertain to special price agreements and projects to improve quoting process and managing SPAs Ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete requests and assignments in a timely manner. Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization and external constituencies, including (but not limited to) Sales Vice Presidents, Sales leaders, contract owners, Application Engineering, Credit, Customer Satisfaction and product managers to produce accurate, quality response to all requests When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. *MSJA #LI-ED2 Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. Minimum of two (2) years prior pricing or contract experience Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Ellisville will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business from an accredited institution Prior pricing/contract experience of 5+ years Proficient in Microsoft Office software, with an intermediate to advanced skill level in MS Excel including V-Look-Ups, Pivot Tables, Macros and Templates Experience with SAP and Business warehouse reporting tool We provide benefits that are industry competitive and focused on employee well-being.
