We are looking forward to a Pricing Analyst in Eaton’s Sales and Marketing Center, based in Pune, India. This exciting role provides opportunity to: Support the country sales organizations for component-based price management in assigned region(s) or country(s) including Pricing approvals, contract quotes and requests. Liaison with Pricing/Business Analyst and Regional Pricing Manager, Eaton Sales Team and Product Management. Support projects or programs for price and quote management, with coordination of cross-functional resources. Calculate price quotations, discounts and trigger prices using Price Index, mark-ups and established guidelines. Maintains quotes, contracts, pricing structures and price lists electronically and in different databases. Resolves data integrity issues when present (incorrect prices, discounts, quotes, etc.) Support in providing recommendations on price quotations (beyond established guidelines) and/or price discount programs by performing analysis of cost information, competitive pricing and profitability. Consults with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, plant personnel when needed. Support in executing projects of strategic importance in the areas of Price Management. Support Product Line managers, Pricing Manager, Finance teams & sales leaders in pricing processes that builds pricing sophistication and overall profitability. Maintain tools, reporting & scorecards to track key metrics and value captured from pricing activities. Identify opportunities to enhance current processes to reduce risk through effective use of price analytics. Qualifications Graduate in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, Economics. MBA degree (Marketing or Finance) preferred 2 to 4 years of pricing experience. Preferably in Manufacturing industry Ability to manage a large amount of transactional data and determine trends up to part number level with win-loss analysis using statistical and analytical tools. Working knowledge of Process Improvement tools and methodologies Proficiency in MS – Office suite, should be very proficient with MS- Excel Experience of working on BI tools like OBIEE, Cognos, SAP Knowledge/exposure of statistical languages and tools like SPSS, Tableau and Visualization tools like Power Bi is an added advantage. Good organizational and time management skills, strong analytical skills and the inter-personal skills to interact with all levels of management.
