Principal accountabilities:

• Translate results from performance/pricing tools to the business and use these to develop performance dialogues and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide clear communication to the business regarding the performance of account managers
• Leverage multiple reporting systems and databases to provide actionable insights through reporting and analytics
• Provide analytical support to the Pricing Manager and Business Leadership Team using various systems.
• Support the ongoing maintenance and improvements of existing pricing models
• Continuously test the predictive power of existing pricing models to identify areas for improvements and the addition of further data once available
• Assist the Pricing Manager on any other related pricing office requirements
• Analyse ongoing Commodity and DVP pricing performances and identify new pricing opportunities for the business
• Work with the IT departments to manage the link between various databases to allow us to define needs for inclusion of external data, assess sources and adapt data structure
• Support the ongoing maintenance and improvements of existing pricing models
• Continuously test the predictive power of existing pricing models to identify areas for improvements and the addition of further data once available

Requirements:

• Graduate or post-graduate degree in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, engineering, Econometrics, Mathematics) with previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to construct and execute multiple complex analyses in a pragmatic and results driven manner
• Expertise in use of analytics, statistics and visualization software is a plus (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, Phyton, R, SAS)
• Good knowledge of modelling techniques (regression, segmentation etc.) and experience with statistical programming software like SAS, R, equivalents and SQL would be highly beneficial .
• Fluent in English.
