Pricing Analyst – Valve and Valve Actuation

Job Description
Eaton’s Vehicle Group has an opening for a Pricing Analyst – Valve and Valve Actuation. Location: Turin HQ, Italy Primary function: The primary responsibility for this position is to own the portfolio management process for the valve and light vehicle standard valve actuation teams in order to build viable business cases, enhance sales growth and profitability, new product development, and global pricing alignment. Your key deliverables: Utilizes market analytics, regional and global market price and cost data to build proposals Works with the regional sales teams to receive and analyze RFQ’s from customers Supports sales and product line team as they develop selling price and terms and conditions recommendations and negotiation strategy Evaluates quotes based on their strategic significance and fit for Eaton Assists the product strategy manager in determining which opportunities should be quoted Serves as the point of contact for plants, engineering, sales and finance in pricing model preparation and review Performs profitability reviews and provides global price comparisons to ensure consistency and support for the negotiation strategy Reviews cost models to ensure global pricing consistency and that profitability targets are met. Complies with the policies, procedures, and expectations outlined by Eaton’s Management System for the Environment, Safety, Security, and Health (MESH) and Quality Management Qualifications Qualifications Bachelors degree required; Engineering degree Excellent negotiating, interpersonal, communication, and strategic planning skills.
