Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Pricing Coordinator join our team. This position is based at our Mississauga, ON facility.
Position Overview:
Developing and implementing pricing strategies by segment, customer type, and price method in support of division price, share and profitability goals. Collaborating with pricing management at division to ensure that pricing strategies are aligned. Maintaining “Pricing Guidelines” and other pricing tools to ensure that the Sales Managers have effective tools to support their function. Collecting and analyzing competitors’ price points as available and developing recommendations for counter strategies and tactics (price against analysis) as needed. Performing value-based analysis to make sound pricing recommendations. Managing and maintaining price files and SAP loading. Creating and maintaining quotation price matrix dependent on product segment and product volume. Responding to customer quotation requests and managing CPQ users.

In this function you will:
- Manages all aspects of pricing for WD Canada, including, but not limited to, creating and managing price bands, running pricing analysis and making pricing recommendations to leadership team
- Creates and manages customer quotation requests
- Maintains quotation min/max price level based on historical and market price levels.
- Supports pricing system development and implementation as pricing functional expert
- Gathers pricing and customer related data to feed into pricing system and works with product management and sales teams to validate the data.
- Provides pricing analytics to support product line.
- Acts as a liaison between Product Management, CPRO, Sales and other key stakeholders.
- Identifies and defines process changes required due to changing business/customer requirements and needs.
- Train internal users on new pricing processes, CPQ and process modifications
- Create processes for system updates due to price changes or price increases or any other circumstances impacting division pricing
- Update and publish Pricing Guidelines on a regular basis (quarterly, at a minimum)
- Aggregates and distributes pricing and market share information

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- University Education from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a business setting.
- No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 80KM of Mississauga to be considered.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred qualifications:
- SAP experience
- Pricing Processes and Systems experience
- Knowledge of electrical products or market
- Experience pricing or IT function
Position Criteria:
- Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Experience in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphical form. An understanding of costing concepts and terminology.
- Strong MS Office skills; PowerPoint, Excel (Advanced), Outlook
