What you’ll do

In this position you will be responsible for developing and implementing price and reimbursement strategies for products in the market in close collaboration with the respective Market Access Manager, LIT teams across MC Baltic.

You will also be responsible for maintenance of internal pricing systems, assistance in developing business cases and other analytical documents as well as support processing, submission, follow-up of bid quotations. And perform analyses to validate rebate claims, and assist with analysis of pricing strategies to support development of overall pricing/contracting policies.

Other responsibilities will include:

Functional
Reimbursement

  • Develop and execute the national market access strategy together with Market Access  manager and LIT teams
  • Prepare and submit local price and reimbursement applications (new applications, renewals etc), follow up
  • Responsible for relevant dialogue with the price and reimbursement authorities together with the Market Access manager
  • Responsible for handling reimbursement agreements

Strategic pricing

  • Analyse trends, competitors and prices in market and in other markets that can impact future price changes locally
  • Drives developing pricing strategies for all products
  • Work closely with Market Access and Marketing (TA) teams to develop optimal tenders

Interactions

  • Develop and build relations with key external stakeholders within the price and reimbursement bodies
  • Serves as initial contact regarding notification or disputes and requests for additional information in price related matters
  • Participate in cross functional TA (LIT) team work
  • Collaboration with logistics/distribution team

Insights

  • Gaining insight on competitor’s and authority’s pricing policy
  • Gather insight of how the future and current pricing system works
  • Share insight through relevant channels and cross functional teams
  • Assures tasks are of correct quality and in accordance with written procedures and current legal requirements  and internal standards

Essential for the role

  • Bachelor  degree
  • Experience from doing analytic work
  • Excellent local language and English skills / communication and writing skills
  • Excellent skills in usage of spread sheet software (MS Excel) and/or similar tools for data analysis
  • Deep understanding of how the price and reimbursement  system works

Desirable for the role

  • University degree preferably within health economics, pharmacy or business economics
  • Understand the AZ business model and pharma market place
