PYP Curriculum
Teachers provide a guided inquiry-based approach to learning using the International
Baccalaureate’s Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework of five essential elements:
knowledge, concepts, skills, attitudes, and action. Six Subject Areas: Language, Social Studies, Arts, Mathematics, Science, PSPE.

Candidates should have:
 Bachelor’s degree or above
 More than 2 years of relevant teaching experience
 Candidates must be fully qualified for primary homeroom teachers with excellent
classroom practices and a love of teaching

 Excellent communication skills with students
 Teach students in a way that enables them to achieve high standards of learning
 Contribute towards the provision of a dynamic, creative international learning
environment
 Actively participate in the development of the school
 Work cooperatively and supportively with all members of staff
