ABOUT THE POSITION
As a foreign teacher in the school, you will join a community of a lot of passionate and experienced teachers in China. You will teach classes of 25 to 36 students, aged from 7-14. You will have around 20 classes per week from Monday to Friday. You should plan and deliver lessons, evaluate student progress and providing ongoing guidance for students’ future studies. This is an incredible opportunity for those who interested in teaching students of other languages, communicating and sharing your teaching methods with teachers on the other side of the world, and experiencing an exciting life abroad.
TEACHER SUPPORT AND RESOURCES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree
• Graduate studies preferred
• Native-like proficiency of English
• Two year teaching experience or TESOL/TEFL certification • Must be able to obtain a clear background check
SALARY AND BENEFITS
• English teachers: 17000-22000 RMB ($2,500 – $3,250) per month before tax • Subject teachers: 22000-33000 RMB ($3,250 – $4,900) per month before tax • FREE HOUSING (an 1b outside of campus)
• Free flight during the contract year
• Subsidized meals
• Sponsored legal Z work visa
• Insurance provided
• 15 paid annual leave days and Christmas holiday
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Jiashan is about 60 kms from Shanghai and it takes 25 mins by train to Shanghai Hongqiao. The school is jointly built by one of China's leading creators and operators of full-scale New Industry Cities, and a well-known university in Shanghai. It covers an area of 112,000 square meters, of which the first phase covers an area of 56,666.67 square meters and the construction area is about 42,000 square meters.
The group has started 3 campuses in other cities, which prove the strong school strength and rich management experience. The affiliated university is a key construction university in Shanghai, with strong scientific research, rich educational resources and numerous international exchange channels. These two partners can both provide fertile ground for teachers to grow rapidly. The school follows the core educational orientation of “Good Speaking with Nice Behavior, Chinese Connotation with World Feelings”.
