Red Brick Education is looking for an experienced primary school English teacher to join our client school, which is a K-12 international IB school and Bilingual school in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province. This position is a bilingual curriculum primary ESL position, for August 2021 start, and it is open to teachers both in and out of China. The school can provide PU letter, notification of work permit for teachers to apply for Z visa.

Requirements:
• Native English Speaker (Candidates from the U.S, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Ireland)
• Hold a Bachelor Degree or above
• Clean police background check and good health condition
• At least two years related teaching experience in full time international or bilingual school.
• Major in related subject


Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

- Sign a 2 -year contract with the school
- Teach no more than 22 teaching periods per week (Duration: 40 minutes/period)
- Hold office hours for students
- Follow school regulations and rules
- Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
- Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
- Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, exams, etc.)
- Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
- Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom

- Collaborate with other teachers, parents and administration and participate in regular meetings
- Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities
- Observe and understand students’ behavior and educational needs
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences, etc.
