Department: Primary School, Shanghai Thomas School

Responsibilities:
The teacher helps design, implement and administer student programs and services appropriate to the needs of students and consistent with the values and teaching styles of Thomas School. He/she contributes to creating and maintaining a learning culture, enabling students to become enthusiastic, independent learners. He/she sets and demands high standards of learning, teaching, and student attainment.

1. Teach English or related subjects to primary-aged students
2. Work as Classroom Teacher that helps Chinese teachers with assembly, parents meeting, classroom management, etc.
3. Design teaching plans, and assign & correct homework according to curricular requirements
4. Prepare and administer tests, quizzes, and other student assessments as needed
5. Report student performance in a timely manner
6. Provide needed guidance to students and parents
7. Organize student activities
8. Guide students throughout independent research projects

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant major;
2. Relevant subject majors or teaching credentials preferred
3. Good team player and solid communication skills;
4. Passport holder from: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa ( Due to China's visa regulation )
5. Cross cultural awareness
