Job Description
As a Head Teacher, your main responsibilities may include:
1. Leadership and Management: You will be responsible for providing strong leadership and effective management of the school. Leading the FT team and coordinated with Chinese teacher team. Report to the Deputy Principal of the school.
2. Curriculum Development: You will work with the PYP coordinator and oversee the development and implementation of the school's English curriculum, ensuring it meets the educational needs of the students and is aligned with national or local standards.
3. Staff Management: You will be responsible for recruiting, and training for the English Department. This includes conducting performance evaluations, providing professional development opportunities, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
4. Parent and Community Engagement: You will foster strong relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider community. This includes regular communication, organizing parent-teacher meetings, and collaborating with community organizations to enhance the educational experience.
5. School Development and Improvement: You will lead initiatives to continuously improve the school's performance and outcomes. This may involve implementing innovative teaching methods, adopting new technologies, and collaborating with other educational institutions to share best practices.
