Job Description
Main duties & responsibilities to support achieving accountabilities
1.Teach homeroom subjects to Primary school students ensuring that planning, preparation, recording assessment and reporting are world class and cater for individual.
2.Keep appropriate and efficient records on the development, progress and attainment of students, integrating formative assessment into weekly and semester planning.
3.Meet challenging but realistic educational targets that demonstrate excellence in student academic progress.
4. Ensure the safety and securities of students at all time, meeting their social, emotional and physical needs.
5.Help students to succeed in their learning tasks, giving them good experiences so that they develop self-respect and foster personal maturity.
6.Develop and regularly review the curriculum to ensure that it is delivered effectively.
7.Prepare students for examinations and for their next level of study.
8.Set and mark work (including examinations where appropriate) to be carried out by the students.
9.Motivate students and build up trust among colleagues.
10.Offer extra-curricular activities to support the ethos and enrichment of the school’s provision.
11.Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters.
12.Communicate and consult with the parents of students.
13.Promote the general progress and well-being of individual students.
14.Take a full and active role in the wider life of the school, always exemplifying the values and ethos of the school.
15.Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside of the classroom.
16.Run one CCA, one EE, one Evening Prep duty per week, one weekend duty per term.
17.Participate in CPD activities.
18.Support day and residential trips to enhance and encourage the skills and experience of all students. Ensuring all school trip procedures are followed.
19.Attend assemblies, register attendance of students and supervise students whether before, during or after school.
20.Participate in meetings which relate to the school’s management, curriculum, administration and organization.
21.Contribute to and attend whole school community events throughout the year.
22.Participate in marketing activities to encourage enrolment into the school, and contribute to the growth of the school.

Required Qualifications / Skills
1. Bachelor's Degree or higher.
2.More than 3 years of relevant teaching experiences (CNC, ENC, CAIE preferred).
3.Appropriate degree, with UK PGCE, QTS or other teaching qualification.
4.Experience of teaching children whose first language is not English.
5.High sense of responsibility and passion for teaching.
6.Evidence of a commitment to the value of team work.
7.Good classroom management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
8.Develop constructive and professional relationships with teaching and non-teaching staff, and parents.
9.Promote a culture of personal accountability and passion for education.
10.Have high expectations of ourselves and others.
11.Willingness to get involed in the boarding community and offer extra- curricular activities & academic support.
12. Acceptable police checks from the country of origin and from other countries in which the applicant has worked.
