Job Title: Primary ICT / Computer Science Teacher

Location: Shanghai, China
Start Date: August 2026

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Primary ICT / Computer Science Teacher to join our international school in Shanghai.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach ICT and introductory Computer Science to primary school students
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons (e.g. digital literacy, coding, online safety)
Foster students’ creativity, problem-solving, and computational thinking skills
Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning
Assess student progress and provide feedback
Support school-wide digital learning initiatives and extracurricular activities

Requirements:

Native English speaker
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, ICT, Education, or a related field
Relevant teaching experience in primary education preferred
Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) preferred
Familiarity with coding tools/platforms (e.g. Scratch, Python) is an advantage
Strong classroom management and communication skills
