Responsibilities:
The teacher helps design, implement and administer student programs and services appropriate to the needs of students and consistent with the values and teaching styles of Thomas School. He/she contributes to creating and maintaining a learning culture, enabling students to become enthusiastic, independent learners. He/she sets and demands high standards of learning, teaching, and student attainment.
The PE Teacher should also be involved as a Classroom Teacher role that helps Chinese teachers with assembly, parents meeting, classroom management, etc.
1. Teach PE
2. Design teaching plans, and assign & correct homework according to curricular requirements
3. Prepare and administer tests, quizzes, and other student assessments as needed
4. Report student performance in a timely manner
5. Provide needed guidance to students and parents
6. Organize student activities
7. Guide students throughout independent research projects
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant major;
2. Relevant subject majors or teaching credentials preferred
3. Minimum 2 years’ verifiable subject teaching experience;
4. Working experience in K-12 school( preferred)
5. Good team player and solid communication skills;
6. Cross cultural awareness
