Job Description

1.Reviewing curriculum needs and, in consultation with other staff and the Senior Management, choose courses that are appropriate to the needs of our Primary pupils;
2.Involved in the development of agreed schemes of work for all year groups;
3.Attending regular meetings of Primary school staff at which curriculum planning, pupil progress, and teaching and learning needs are discussed, and good practice is shared;
4.Participation in professional review interviews and regular lesson observations as agreed within the Primary Head and Principal;
5.Participation in the development and monitoring of Primary School targets;
6.Working with other Primary School teachers to develop policies and to ensure that existing policies are implemented effectively and are in line with the directives of the PRC and the regional education authorities of the Huangpu district;
7.Enriching the curriculum for Primary Pupils by ensuring that there is a varied and exciting programme of extra- curricular activities;
8.Thorough planning, preparation and clear presentation of lessons;
9.Initiating, facilitating and moderating classroom discussions;
10.Evaluating and grading pupils’ work, giving appropriate feedback and maintaining records of pupils’ progress and development;

Requirements

1.Bachelor's degree or above;
2.TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certificate;
3.Clear criminal background check;
4.A minimum two years’ teaching experience in a primary school setting;
5.Experience of overseas teaching or of teaching international pupils is an advantage;
6.Familiarity and/or recent experience with the National Curriculum of England preferred;
7.QTS/PGCE/US Teaching license or other equivalent certificates;
8. Native English Speakers from UK, US, Canada, NZ and Ireland

Salary and Benefits

1.Base salary 22,000 to 27,000 RMB (before tax) per month based on experience and qualifications;
2.Housing allowance:
For Single- 8,000 RMB per month;
For candidate with dependents- 10,000 RMB per month;
3.Work visa provided;

5.Meals provided during workdays;
6.Flight reimbursement available:
For Single- 10,000 RMB per year;
For Couple- 15,000 RMB per year;
7.Yearly bonus up to 1 month salary available;
