We are a private boarding school located in Linyi county, around 20 minutes from Yuncheng in Shanxi province. Yuncheng is connected to the high speed rail network and Xi'an can be reached in an hour, and Taiyuan in two hours.

We are looking for an English teacher to teach our Primary (elementary) level students (Grades 1 to 6). Your focus will be on oral English. We operate a four day working week, one week Tuesday to Friday inclusive, the next Monday to Thursday inclusive. Classes are 45 minutes duration and our working day is 0820 to 1700. We do not schedule foreign teachers lessons at night or at weekends except on very rare occasions in which case ample notice will be given.

Your base teaching hours are 20 classes per week. Depending on new student intake this could increase to a maximum of 25 teaching classes.You will have a teaching assistant to assist you during your classes. We are looking for someone to begin at the beginning of next semester that is from 5th September 2015. If you are already in China and on an appropriate visa we can offer you free accommodation during the summer whilst we transfer your visa to us. Your contract will end on 30th June 2016.

We offer a very competitive package compared with the local market for the right candidate.

Your base salary is 6,500rmb per month based on 20 classes per week. Extra classes will be paid at the rate of 50rmb per class. As en example if you teach 25 classes per week, you would receive 6,500rmb base salary plus 5x50rmb per week x4 making a total salary of 7,500rmb. You will be provided with an 10,000rmb flight allowance in addition to a 2,000rmb traveling allowance at the end of your contract. Full salary will be paid for July and August the following year should you elect to renew your contract with us. Full salary is also paid during the Spring Festival vacation. We provide a free on site apartment, free utilities, internet and three meals a day during school term time.

To be able to process working visas, we need you to have the following credentials:-

1. Passport holder of one of the countries listed below.
2. Hold a minimum of a three year degree and can provide the original certificate.
3. Hold a TEFL or TESOL certificate with a minimum of 70 hours and can provide the original certificate.
4. Have a minimum of two years teaching experience.
5. Hold a certificate of no criminal convictions.
6. Be between 24 and 55 years old.

We are fully licensed with SAFEA to provide working visas and an FEC certificate. We can only accept applications from candidates holding passports from USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
