The International German School Hefei (IGS) is a newly founded international school with a bilingual program, located in the emerging metropolis of Hefei, approximately 2 hours by train from Shanghai. To strengthen our international section, we are looking for a committed and qualified English Teacher for our Primary and/or Secondary School.

Job Description:
Primary or Secondary Homeroom Teacher

Candidate Profile:

Degree in English/German, Education, or a related field

Recognized teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)

Experience in international or bilingual schools desirable

Familiarity with international curricula (Cambridge, IB PYP/MYP) is an advantage

Strong classroom management and intercultural communication skills

Familiarity with language acquisition methodologies (EAL/CLIL) is an asset
