PRIMARY TEACHERS NEEDED FOR ABU DHABI - AUGUST 2020

A special needs school located in Abu Dhabi UAE is carefully selecting a range of primary homeroom teachers for the next academic year. This is a job with a difference and more details will be shared by your Edvectus consultant, with regard to the type of school. Although relevant training will be part of the assignment there will be a natural preference for primary teachers to have some training and / or experience in special educational needs. But it is not an essential pre-requisite - in this case candidates need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education or a Bachelor Degree in a subject that is taught in the primary classroom (like maths and English) and have qualified teacher status. Plus they need to have the right attitude, energy and dedication to take on this type of job. Class sizes will be small and class assignments for homeroom teaching will extend beyond the primary age range into the secondary level, although subject specialists are not required at this time. Primary teachers need to be prepared to teacher older children. This job will require true dedication and perseverance; it will be hard work and it will test you; but you will come out of it with a truly rewarding end educational experience. It will not be for faint hearted; expectations will be high.

Due to the background of the establishment, the nature of the program and curriculum and the approval by the Ministry of Education, all applicants must be British trained and experienced, or in special circumstances demonstrate that they have substantial British curriculum experience.
