What we do:
BNY Mellon Wealth Management is dedicated to helping people, families, planned giving programs, endowments, foundations and other institutions with all their wealth and investment planning needs. By providing integrated products, services and solutions, we help them capitalize on opportunity while managing risk.
BNY Mellon Tel Aviv is an exciting R&D center founded on the base of a start-up company purchased by the bank, focusing on developing new products and providing technological enhancements for existing products in the bank.
Our DNA is of a start-up company, we focus on quick and quality product delivery, working with the latest technologies in an Agile-Scrum development environment.

Currently our site includes 30 employees with a plan to substantially grow the headcount in 2021 to 50 employees.
Our new stunningly designed and well-equipped office is situated in the middle of Tel Aviv, only 5 minutes away from the Shalom train station.
The successful candidate will be:
Responsible to design, develop and test a large-scale, custom distributed software system, employ agile development practices including test and deployment automation as well as Continuous Integration to improve overall execution speed and product quality.
Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code.
Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to satisfy requirements and solutions.
Apply security and privacy principles
Active learning engagement. Complete all required mandatory training / policy awareness curricula on time. Use learning tools such as Pluralsight to complete both recommended and aspirational targets set in personal development plans.
Compiles documentation written by more senior developers of all procedures used in system. Acts as mentor to junior level engineers
Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications:
Skillset:
- 5-7 years’ experience in using a specific application development toolkit and knowledge for front end and backend development coding languages such as C#, Java, Python, HTML, NodeJS, CSS, Angular, JavaScript.
- Job holder must have broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits.
- Applicant must show proficiency in one development stack with implementation knowledge in other stack.
- Asynchronous, Concurrent and Parallel programming techniques etc’
- Knowledge in overall application architectural components (webserver, app server, database server, Micro services Architecture, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
Advantage:
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Experience with state management libraries like NGRX, Redux or MobX.
- Experience in integrating with REST APIs, exposure to standards such as oData and GraphQL.
- Knowledge with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or TeamCity
- Proficiency in automated testing
- 4+ years’ experience with frameworks like Angular 2+, Springboot, Pandas and Flask.
- 4+ years of HTML5/CSS3 experience.
- Experience in analyzing and providing solutions for UI performance challenges.
