  • Through knowledge and experience, has achieved external recognition as expert in the field of semiconductor markets, specifically worldwide DRAM memory markets
  • Primary responsibility to manage DRAM market research and analysis within the Asia Pacific regions, including data collection, report deliverable's, and presentations to external/internal customers. This data will feed into the worldwide DRAM market analysis tool.
  • Influences decisions within DRAM/memory team and drives action and results
  • Responsible for some business development
  • Able to travel throughout APAC region and provide customer presentations of DRAM markets
  • Independently interacts with clients on areas of focus and expertise
  • Challenges existing analytical framework and conventional wisdom
  • Can identify and articulate core/essential issues within complex problems, and deliver insights and solutions
  • Has direct accountability for client relationships and the quality and quantity of own output and that of the DRAM memory team; Likely to be accountable for elements of the revenue stream
  • Manages and delivers consulting projects covering a variety of subject areas as required

• Knowledge and Skills
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of DRAM memory market dynamics including supply/demand behavior and key customers & suppliers
  • Strong understanding of DRAM memory technology
  • Strong knowledge of overall DRAM industry including key players, global trends, long-term prognosis, and historical trends
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively manage small to large sized projects of moderate to high complexity
  • Strong knowledge of MS applications required (Excel, Word and PowerPoint); experience with databases highly preferred
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced presentation skills and ability to influence at the management level
  • Organization skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Sets the standard for the quality of research and analysis
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex models
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and provide recommendations based on limited available data
  • Experience and comfort presenting complex information and analysis to senior level executives at Fortune 500 companies

• Typical Experience
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of industry experience, preferably at a DRAM memory supplier

• Education and Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • MBA highly desirable

• Physical Requirements / Working Environment
  • Ability to physically perform general office requirements
  • Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Occasional travel including overnight domestic or international trips required
