Job Description

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Principal Applications Engineer for the PCBU to provide and enable technical support to the WW FAEs and customers to design-in PCBG products.

The Role

Working in the PCBU based in Zhubei |Taiwan, you will:

  • Design of evaluation boards (EVBs), customized circuitry and demo boards
  • Train and support WW FAEs as needed to win strategic opportunities and to solve customers’ critical issues
  • Participate in the new product development, from new ideas to production release, in different development phases
  • Sustain quality support in FAR process
  • Conduct competitive analysis and collect field feedback/market knowledge

What Are We Looking For?

  • 8+ years’ experience as a design or application engineer in DC/DC power management
  • Ability and desire to grow into a team lead or applications manager
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or above) in Electrical Engineering
  • Relevant hardware & software experience in designing DC/DC power conversion circuits
  • Applications knowledge of consumer handheld, and/or computing
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical subjects in a confident and clear way
  • Fluent in written and verbal English
  • Confident when speaking in public (training, seminars etc.)
  • Results-oriented and able to deliver on-time under tight schedule pressure.
  • Ability to work both independently and part of a team.
  • Flexible to undertake occasional international travel at short notice
