Support ad-hoc reporting / data analysis with minimal requirements and quick turn around
Proactively drive enhanced reporting that aligns with business objectives and delivers key insights into the Global Technology Portfolio
Analyze and interpret data using statistical and non-statistical methods. Develop meaningful insights by interpreting patterns or trends in complex data sets
Identify and drive data quality / enhancement opportunities to support high-integrity reporting
Work collaboratively with members of the Global Technology Portfolio Management Team and other Stakeholders to design and develop scorecards, dashboards and related reports necessary to track Program/Project metrics, health, financials or other data
Drive development priorities including: analysis, requirements, design and testing for both the Business Intelligence/Reporting Group, and other stakeholders in the Global Technology Portfolio Management Office
Deliver established executive reports including scorecards and dashboards on a scheduled cadence, confirm accuracy and ensure quality across the suite
Participates in determining what metrics to track, how they are to be measured, and the method in which data is tracked, stored and reported.
Develops consultative partnerships with internal teams to understand their strategic objectives, key performance indicators and reporting requirements.
Extracts business insights to guide direction of learning activities and drive organizational efficiencies, effectiveness and outcomes.
Maintains knowledge of company's total computing environment and planned changes in order to develop meaningful measurements.
Stays abreast of technology innovations and trends and identifies areas of improvement.
Works with business stakeholders to develop solutions.
Collaborates with and supports leaders and their teams from multiple areas of expertise to ensure strategies and measurements are aligned and support business and operating results. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is beneficial10-12 years of related experience required
Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Experience working in a structured Project Management environment- Agile Development Team experience is a strong plus
Highly-skilled problem solver leveraging available data and tools to meet required objectives
Compose polished executive dashboards and decks
Expert-level knowledge and experience with Excel, PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills- able to present to executive management and support Portfolio data and insights
Highly organized and able to manage multiple high-priority objectives simultaneously
High level of proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization and analytics software required (Qlik, JasperSoft, Oracle Business Intelligence, Tableau or similar data visualization tools)
Experience using Project Management Tools (PPM, JIRA)
Proficiency in SQL is a plus
