Principal Clinical Programmer is accountable for quality, timely and efficient delivery of project level programming activities. This includes developing tools to perform data cleaning for ongoing clinical projects, as well as a host of other activities related to developing visualization dashboards to provide study and portfolio level oversight. In addition, the role can also be involved in developing applications to enable automation and support implementation of data science projects.

This position requires profound programming experience and excellent industry knowledge to independently lead implementation of programming activities as well as lead other programmers. It is a leadership role that can have a project or technical focus and lead cross-functional initiatives with high complexity. May act as a team leader to manage and develop programmers within the group.
