Job Title - Principal Database Engineer 

Job Location - Bangalore (Hybrid)

Key Skills: PostgreSQL Database administration, MYSQL DBA & Aurora

Cloud exposure: AWS

Responsibilities:

- Experience required: 8-12 years.
-Minimum 4+ years of experience in developing and managing PostgreSQL & MYSQL databases across various platforms.
-Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud.
-Good grip on Linux/Unix Commands for DB Operations.
-Good understanding in Database migration.
-Responsible for Query tuning and preventative maintenance.
-Knowledge of message queuing, indexing, and high-performance data concepts
-Familiarity with data structure and algorithms
-Ability to write database queries and code while maintaining data quality, privacy, and security.
-Must be able to capture long running queries using pg_stat_statements
-Knowledge of AWS RDS service and hands on experience in handling Aurora RDS.
-Must be able to use and Analyze Performance insight.
-Must be able to read and understand the execution plans and suggest query optimization.

Good to have: SQL Server Database administration.
