In this position, the individual will be responsible to provide design-engineering support for NAND flash memory customer issues.

Main responsibilities are listed but not limited to below items –

1.       Supporting failure case analysis from design perspective, providing detailed root cause analysis report to product development teams and customer-facing Failure Analysis team.

a.       The failure case or defect could come from logic module or analog module, an in-depth understanding of logic module design or analog module design is preferred.

2.       Based on the failure learning, providing screen/stress improvement proposal for product development teams to improve product quality and DFT design for future product testability optimization.

3.       Design verification task involvement to catch up with the latest design when FA loading is lighter.

a.       Design verification could be logic verification requiring Verilog/Verdi knowledge, or it could be analog verification requiring Hspice/Finesim capability.

The individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.  Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. A proven desire to have a close collaboration within the same team and outside of the team as a team member. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.  Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.  Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Skill set requirements:

·         Ability to read and understand basic analog/digital circuit design schematics and layout

·         Ability to read and understand Verilog coded design, simulate and check waveforms

·         Capability to debug silicon and probe design signals for failure root cause analysis

·         Strong communication skills

·         Basic flash memory cell device characteristics and operation understanding is a good plus

Education: MS EE

Experience: 2-5 year
